Welcome to your retreat for rest and refreshment in Jesus.

Ministry leaders often carry more than just responsibilities—they carry the weight of others’ expectations, the ache of spiritual dryness, and the pressure to keep going even when their soul is tired. When there's no space to rest, reflect, or hear from God, it’s easy to feel stuck, disconnected, and unsure of the next step forward.

At The Springs, we understand the deep exhaustion that can come with life in ministry. Many of us have walked that same road—burned out, disillusioned, longing for rest but unsure how to find it. That’s why we created a sacred place where weary ministry staff and volunteers can step away, slow down, and breathe again.

Here, on 150 acres of God’s beautiful creation, you’re invited into stillness. To listen for God’s voice in the quiet. To rediscover your authentic self. With support from ministry leaders, you’ll explore rhythms of grace that can carry you into a more sustainable and peaceful life—one marked by connection, clarity, and renewed purpose.

Because without margin to rest, exhaustion only deepens. Disconnection turns into disillusionment. And the call that once felt sacred can begin to feel like a burden. You weren’t meant to carry it all alone.

There’s a different way to live and lead—one that begins with rest. Don’t wait. Schedule your retreat today.

How it all began...

The journey began in 2010, when God led the Towners and Holmes to what was then known as King’s Ranch, nestled in the rolling hills of Indiana. It needed a lot of TLC, but it had good bones, and the Holmes said yes before ever seeing it in person. The Towners moved into the red house with just a few renovations and a whole lot of sweat equity.

As city dwellers learning country life, they quickly discovered how to care for horses, fill in a swimming pool, maintain a lake, make beds, carve trails through the woods, and adapt to slow internet and an even slower pace of life. They became friends with the neighboring farmers and with the moles, deer, bass, bees, and birds who shared the land.

What began as a dream to serve weary ministry leaders has grown into a sacred place where guests come from all over the country for rest, reflection, and a walk through the pines or a fire under the stars.

God has been faithful in every step of The Springs’ unfolding story, and we look forward to welcoming you into it.

The Springs is made possible by the generosity of our guests and partners.
