GUEST CABINS
We offer 4 cabins with identical floor plans, each with 2 bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with twin beds) on the main floor, an open loft with twin beds, 1 full bathroom, and a combined kitchen and living space. The kitchens feature a full size refrigerator, two burner stove top, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, crock pot, coffeemaker and tableware - sorry, no ovens are in the cabins but our Gathering Space has one for your use if desired. Our cabins have central heat and A/C. To see the floor plan and sleeping arrangement of our cabins, click on the image at the bottom of this page for a layout.
PLEASE note that guest cabins are strictly pet free and smoke free.
COURTYARD
A courtyard between the cabins offers patio furniture, a gas grill and a wood stove. Additional outdoor seating is available across from the cabins, over looking the lake, and in the meadow around a large fire pit. Firewood is provided.
HOT TUB
For your enjoyment there is a hot tub located next to the cabins. Please be considerate of other guests and shower before using to remove lotions, sunscreen and insect repellent. Spa towels are available in the cabins, though you may prefer to bring your own beach towels.
GATHERING SPACE
The Gathering Space may be reserved for use when making your group reservation to stay at The Springs. It offers indoor seating at round tables, accommodating up to 20 guests, with a sound system, projector and DVD player that can be connected to your laptop. An oven, refrigerator and basic cooking utensils are also available. Additionally, informal meeting space around a gas stove accommodates up to 20 guests.
HORSES
Our horses, Camille and April, appreciate getting love and attention. You are welcome to visit them in the barn and pet them over the fence and read about their history featured in our rustic nature museum in the horse barn.
PLEASE do NOT feed them treats as it leads to aggressive behavior.
LAKE
The lake has plenty of fish to catch, a pedal boat and a small row boat to fish from or to enjoy silence and solitude out on the water. The boat dock and ladder allow easy access to the lake for swimming. Life jackets are available in the brown storage box by the black fence.
PLEASE bring your own towels if you plan to swim in the lake.
LABYRINTH
A Labyrinth is located in the upper meadow for a peaceful pilgrimage where you can walk slowly in the company of our God.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
If you would like a little exercise, The Springs has two horseshoe pits near the Maintenance Barn, where you will also find other outdoor games such as corn hole.
PROPERTY
The largely wooded 150 acres is interspersed with connected meadows that follow the ridge lines inviting you to explore the grounds. Seven trails will guide you around the lake and through the woods with benches conveniently located for resting, reflecting and connecting with God.
COMMUNITY GARDEN
The Springs upper garden next to the Gardener's Shed is available for our guests to enjoy. Vegetables ready to harvest vary throughout the summer and should you need help identifying what is ready to eat our staff will be happy to help you. You are also welcome to pick some flowers to enjoy in your cabin!
CHAPEL
We have a beautiful country chapel that accommodates 12-17 that is available at all times for individual or group worship experiences. Please enter quietly and feel free to ring the bell joyously as you leave!
