The Chapel of The Springs
Dedicated to the Glory God on Saturday, October 7, 2017
Father in Heaven,
Thank you for the gift of this day to celebrate You and Your faithfulness to us here at The Springs.
Thank you for transforming our lives as well as the landscape in the building of this Chapel.
Thank you that long before the forest was ever cleared and crops were grown, You fed Your created ones here!
Thank you for the people who followed their dreams and came and built homes, and fed their families here!
Thank your for planting dreams, where grass once grew, for a place where a table would be set in remembrance of You to feed Your created ones!
Thank your for the trees harvested and hewn to form the structure, for the stained glass windows designed to reflect Your light in all it’s glory,
and for a cross and a chalice and a table crafted to host the feast.
Thank you for a beautiful door that swings open wide inviting people to enter and sit comfortably in silence.
Thank you for the sound of a bell ringing, for voices joined in singing, for Your Word being spoken, for bread being broken to feed our hungry souls!
Thank you, that today, we, like many, will be fed by the One who is The Bread of Life.
We ask that the Chapel at The Springs would be filled with Your praise, day after day, as individuals from around the world gather here to feast at Your Table.
May all be refreshed, encouraged and strengthened to return to their communities to feed Your created ones who hunger to know You!
Thank you for the privilege of sharing in Your unfolding story of amazing grace and abundant provision here at The Springs.
Thank you, Lord, for your Love that has shaped this landscapes and lives!
